Singer George Michael has been arrested and released in London England on charges of drug possession.
He was arrested on Friday and charged with possessing class A and class C drugs, which are believed to include cocaine.
Police were alerted to his actions by a tipster who saw him hanging around suspiciously in underground lavatories in London’s Hampstead Heath on Friday.
In a statement Michael said: “I want to apologise to my fans for screwing up again, and to promise them I’ll sort myself out. And to say sorry to everybody else, just for boring them.”
This is far from the first run in that Michael has had with the law regarding drug use.
For this past arrest, he was only warned, a fact that is puzzling to many who feel he needs to be punished harsher.
