Anne Hathaway’s ex boyfriend Raffaello Follieri has plead guilty in court to charges of real estate fraud

Raffaello Follieri, the ex boyfriend of actress Anne Hathaway has plead guilty in US court to charges of real estate fraud
He is accused of swindling millions of dollars in faulty real estate sales, and could spend up to 5 years in prison on charges of wire fraud, money laundering and conspiracy.
Investigators have been building a case against the Italian business man for quite some time now. They allege that he posed as the Vatican’s representative to the U.S., and that he bosted of being able to sell them no longer wanted church property at a discount.
It is believed that throughout his rooze, he was able to cash in more than 2.5 million dollars belonging to investors.
As part of his plea, he will be unable to appeal his sentence.
“I knew what I was doing was wrong,” he told the judge.
He has been in jail since he was arrested, as he has been unable to come up with his bail of 21 million bucks.
