California Lawmakers Trying For Bisphenol A Ban In Baby Bottles
August 12th, 2008 | by admin |
Lawmakers in the state of California are considering passing a law that would limit the amount of a dangerous chemical in baby bottles.
The name of the chemical is bisphenol A and is a prominant ingredient in the plastic used for baby bottles, baby food cans, and so on.
It has been proven to effect hormone levels in the human body but nobody knows to what degree of ingestion this takes place.
It has been shown to be very unsafe if ingested in large quantities, thus California is pushhing for a limitation or outright ban on its use.
Lawmakers there are trying to make California the first state in America to restrict the amount of bisphenol A used in baby bottles.
Canada has outrightly banned the use of the chemical, and chemical manufacturers are trying really hard to insure that California does not follow suit.
Even the FDA is siding with chemical manufacturers, not budging in their belief that current levels of bisphenol A are acceptible.

Just look at all the BPA-free advertisements on this page. This is not a news article, this is a press release and the author is a PR hack.

The article is promoting the dangers of BPA. What, exactly are you trying to say?
The ads that appear on our site are promoting BPA free products. They are also not controled by us.

My bad. I was obviously wrong to assume that you had solicited the ads. Now I can see that their appearance was not under your control.
That absolves you, I guess.
Does Google pay you anything to feature ads they select? DK Pruitt
