It is being reported that actor Morgan Freeman, who was involved in a serious car crash last Sunday night has undergone successful surgery in hospital.
The surgery was conducted to mend the actor’s broken shoulder and arm, and from all accounts he made it through in flying colours.
Freeman was driving the car belonging to Demaris Meyer, when he lost control and flipped the vehicle into a ditch.
He and Meyer needed to be removed from the wreck using the jaws of life to pry them free.
The medical condition of Meyer is not known at this time, but what is known is that Freeman is on the long road to a successful recovery and remains upbeat.
