The California Department of Public Health have released a report stating that as many as 127 employees of the UCLA Medical Center have at one time or another taken sneak looks at the confidential files of celebrities.

Some of the celebs who have been victimized by these employees include; the California First Lady, Farrah Fawcett, and yes even Britney Spears.

This act is illegal, especially when you take into account that these people were not even involved in the direct care of certain celebs whose medical files they were snooping into.

It was previously believed that the number of “bad” employees was far less than it actually is, according to the findings of the report which was released on Monday.

State regulators have put 100% of the blame on the UCLA Medical Hospital, stating that they did not do enough to protect the confidentiality of their patients.

“What’s startling to us is, as we get to a point where we feel we’ve addressed a specific complaint and a specific issue, we identify additional issues,” said Kathleen Billingsley, director of the health department’s Center for Healthcare Quality. “It’s very disturbing to see this.”
