Dell is currently testing their new digital music player that according to sources could be ready to hit store shelves this fall.

Dell is known as one of the world’s leading computer manufacturers, thus by launching their own digital music player they would draw a mass of intrigued buyers.

Their system is reportedly very simple to use, featuring an easy to read screen, and buttons to navigate through menues.

It will have the ability to connect to the internet, and would probably be fairly cheap.

Many are wondering why they would be choosing to enter into a field of music players that is fully dominated by Apple, yet Dell believes that they can hold their own, something that both Microsoft and Sony have failed to do.

Back in 2003, Dell made an attempt to enter into the digital music industry, launching their DJ Ditty player which did not sell well at all.
