Rapper Kanye West has been named as the recipient of 2 awards at this years’ Black Entertainment TV Awards.
West took home the honors for best male hip-hop artist and best collaboration for Good Life.
The ceremony was held yesterday in Los Angeles, and also featured awards for Chris Brown and Alicia Keys.
Keys was very excited after receiving her award, saying: “Together we can do anything — Obama, y’all!”
The most popular award, is one voted on by fans entitled best new rap award and it went to Lil Wayne.
other ward winners were; Missy Elliott for best female artist, Marvin Sapp won gospel artist, the Dream won best new artest and Halle Berry and Denzel Washington won acting awards.
