Box office numbers are in for this past weekend and the clear cut winner for the most watched movie in Canada and the United States is The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.
Iron Man had been the leader for the previous two weekends but was no match this time around, grossing 31 million dollars compared to 56.5 million for the opening weekend for the Disney flick.
Third place went to “What Happens In Vegas” with fourth place going to “Speed Racer.” “Baby Mama” rounded out the top five.
Prince Caspian is the second Narnia book to be made into a film and is a hit with all Narnia fans as seen by its performance at the box office this past weekend. Whether or not it has the staying power of “Iron Man” is yet to be determined.
