Ellen Wil Marry Partner Portia Following California Supreme Court Rule

It is being reported that talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi are scheduled to be married following a gay marriage ruling in the state of California.
The ruling came when the California Supreme Court overturned a state ban which was in place that did not allow gay people to marry.
DeGeneres, 50 , will be marrying her longtime partner actress Portia De Rossi. She told her audience during the taping of her show on Thursday.
De Rossi, 35, was in the studio when Ellen made the announcement and appeared all smiles.
“It is something of course that we have wanted to do and we wanted to be legal, and we are just very, very excited,” DeGeneres said.
No date has been announced yet for the big event.
Anybody wanting to watch Ellen make the announcement can watch it when her show airs tomorrow.
