SAG Will Resume Strike Talks With Hollywood studios

Hollywood studios and the Screen Actors Guild have agreed to head back to the bargaining table with the hope of hammering out a deal before the June 30 deadline.

If a deal can not be made by the deadline, more than 120,000 actors will be out of work, a fact that would really suck for Hollywood.

In an attempt to prepare for a possible strike, movie production in Hollywood has been increasing over the last few months, as studios try to get as much done as they can before the June 30 deadline.

Actors are not happy with their revenue share pertaining to the sales of DVDs and other forms of digital downloads but studios are refusing to double their current rev sharing program.

After 18 days of talks the two sides parted ways after negotiations went sour, but according to a source, the two sides will head back to the table within two weeks.

Stay tuned for further developments.
