Actress Jennie Garth is rumored to be leaving a comedy pilot being put together by the television network CBS to maybe take up a role in a spin-off of the ever popular Beverly Hills, 90210
Actress Jennie Garth is rumored to be leaving a comedy pilot being put together by the television network CBS to maybe take up a role in a spin-off of the ever popular Beverly Hills, 90210.

She was scheduled to be one of the features on a new CBS comedy called “My Best Friend’s Girl” but has abruptly left the set, meaning that this is probably no longer going to actually happen.

Canadian actress Kristin Booth will be taking her place In the CBS pilot comedy.

The script for the 90210 spin-off was written by Rob Thomas, who is alleged to have recruited her to play her old role of Kelly Taylor.

“The guy who gets hired as the new principal brings his family of four from Kansas to Beverly Hills,” Thomas previously told People.

CW network is the creator of the show, and according to many with inside information, they are praying that the show can help bolster pitiful ratings that the network is currently experiencing.
