Anna Reportedly Gave Her Son Daniel Ecstasy

According to a former boyfriend of dead actress Anna Nicole Smith Larry Birkhead, she once gave her son Daniel an Ecstasy pill, despite the fact that she was concerned about his drug use.

Testifying at an inquest into the September 2006 death of 20-year-old Daniel Smith, Birkhead stated that there was tention between Smith and her son between Jan and May of that year.

Anna was outwardly concerned with the drug use of her son and his friends. She noted how he had lost a lot of weight, and was continuing to break curfew. “She didn’t care for the kids he was hanging out with at the community college he attended,” said Birkhead, who gained custody of Anna Nicole’s daughter.

Birkhead testified that Anna would rather her son take drugs in her presence instead of “running around experimenting with his friends.”

Birkhead also stated that he was not sure of the date when Anna gave the Ecstasy pill to her son, and did not say how he actually learned that that is what the drug was.
